About Coach

If there is one word to describe Lauren, it's ACTIVE. She never stops moving. Throughout her school-age years, she played multiple sports including volleyball, basketball, softball, track & field, and underwater hockey (yes, it's a real sport!). She then went on to row at Xavier University and graduated in 2017 with a double major in Accounting and International Business. After college, she pursued running and ran four marathons in two years! It was during training for her second marathon that she picked up CrossFit. CrossFit has not only become her daily workout but has become her community. She cherishes the relationships she has developed over her years at the gym and decided to take her love of the sport to a new level by becoming a coach in 2021. She is excited to continue developing as an athlete and help others achieve their fitness goals.

Turning Point

The enemy in Lauren's life has always been herself. She struggled with body image issues and a lack of self-confidence starting at a young age. Although she has always been active, it can be hard to fit into society's unreasonable standards. It wasn't until Lauren started working out at CrossFit Cincinnati that she finally felt that confidence and empowerment she had been lacking. You are challenged every time you walk into the gym to push yourself and after a short while, you will start to see the results of your hard work and dedication in the mirror and with your PRs. CrossFit has made Lauren the strong woman she is today, physically and mentally.

Motivation & Passion

Lauren decided to become a coach to help others realize their potential. The beauty of CrossFit is that it meets you wherever you are on your fitness journey. She loves coaching because she gets to watch as her athletes develop their self-confidence inside and outside the gym. As a coach, she will work with you to understand you're 'Why?' and create a plan to help you achieve your goals!
